To the more interesting towns on Cardigan Bay, 20-30 minutes away. The house itself is pleasant. The bedrooms are quite large, but the beds are not the most comfortable. Would happily come back to stay here again, very peaceful place to stay and relax. The hot tub is in a great location with stunning views. The glamping pods are really cosy and comfortable to sleep in. The cherry on top was the pizza oven! It just adds to the experience. Upon arrival your name is on a slab of slate and you can get settled in your pod without any fuss of checking in, the owners are very friendly and welcoming and the whole place is very well kept! Highly recommend staying here if you need a quiet break

I would highly recommend this place if you seek a romantic escape from the modern city life. There is little to no mobile reception, and cooking your meals would be done via the firewood oven (located at the communal kitchen) which you need to start yourself using fight lighter and the logs they've provided. There is a big pond that you can kayak with provided life vest and boats, but during our stay here it was quite windy and rainy (early October time) so instead we just took advantage of the hot tub whenever we got the chance. Lots of sheep's, 4 donkeys and geese around that you can see upon arrival but also hear in the morning.. which is very cute. We love feeding the donkeys carrots and apples btw! On a clear night sky you can see so many stars, the air is clean, the water is soft. Overall I would say this place is a hidden gem. I do not recommend travelling here via public transport so driving is a must as it is very remote, and the nearest big grocery shop is a 25 minute drive.
