Fab hotel amazing quality food well presented. Only fault was a spa weekend and jacuzzi not working one day , sauna and steam room only working alternate days . Not great when it's a spa we went for, gym is excellent Food & drinks: Foid was amazing . Bottle of wine pricey

This hotel and spa is most definitely out of the way. We wanted to go somewhere to chill and relax and this provided both. Our room in the main building was a good size, with a good size bathroom, plenty of cupboard space. We made use of the spa area, 14m pool is small in both length and width, more than 4 people and it limited space. The hot tub is ok, they swap from sauna to steam room on a daily basis, obviously to save money. The cardio area has good mix of machines and there is a separate free weights area. We didn't eat in the hotel of an evening, the menu was bit limited and pricy, and there are two good restaurants in the village. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss, one was really good, food all hot and well presented, the other was just lukewarm and not as good. The location is a challenge, if you walk to the village there are no lights if walking back in the dark, the Lamphey Bishops Palace is just opposite the hotel entrance. We are already thinking about going back.
