I took my grandson along to see Steph Davies at Sports Physio Hwb as he had injured his back playing football, he hadnt rested the injury and it had got a lot worse and he was now unable to play football without pain. She gave him a thorough examination and took time to demonstrate and explain the exercises he would need to do to strengthen his core muscles. She e-mailed us both a comprehensive report of her examination and a list of the exercises to carry out along with a brilliant video of her actually doing the exercise so that he could see exactly what he needed to do. We returned 2 weeks later and Steph was pleased with the progress he had made. She again gave him further detailed exercises to do and a plan to ensure he didnt do too much too soon before returning to play football. We were really impressed with Stephs professionalism teamed with a lovely approachable and friendly personality. We would highly recommend her.

Steph worked with my father after his knee replacement - his rehabilitation time was amazing he is walking unaided 3 months after the operation. She is an excellent professional and would not hesitate to recommend her.

I had a shoulder injury that I thought would go away by itself, 12 months later it was still giving me trouble. Steph was recommended to us and I thought i'd give her a try. The assessment and following excercises had my shoulder fixed within around 6-8 weeks, her easy to understand approach and friendly bedside manner made the sessions very enjoyable and not like 'being fixed' at all. I have been back with another injury since and again she was able to help. I wish I had done this years ago.

Steph was brilliant, she is very knowledgeable and provided me with information and exercises that I can use to manage my pain at home. She follows up appointments with a treatment plan and videos on how to do the exercises which are really clear and helpful. Thank you!

I wish I could remember who recommended Steph from Sports Physio Hwb to me but in the height of the pain and worry I had at the time, it's a blur. However it's the best message I've taken the time to send. I tore my miniscle in my knee while playing with my daughter in our garden. I was a leisure cricket player, runner and enjoyed a kick about with the kids. After the hospital decided not to operate I knew I had to work hard to get back running (the main form of exercise I really didn't want to sacrifice). Steph was fantastic. She understood my committment at home so all exercises were realistic but forward focused and she communicated all we had done and her recommendations to my personal trainer who amended plans to match. A real team effort. She knew my focus was to run again and so helped me manage my expectations but set realistic targets. 11 months later I have just run a half marathon again, pain free and comfortably. I would recommend Steph, without hesitation, to anyone looking for a physio :)
