    If you are used to Londons Indian fine dining scene then you may find this restaurant wanting. However, be reminded this is Hay-on-Wye and all things considered this is not bad at all. Dishes are hit and miss so choose carefully. For starters the Tandoori Mixed Starter was good (3.5/5), and the samosa crispy (3/5), suggest having these both with the mint yoghurt dip which adds another dimension to the flavours. For mains the Lamb Karahi with the fluffy and flavoursome garlic naan is a good option (4/5). Saag paneer does have a milder flavour but still ok (3/5). I would steer clear of the Tarka Daal - normally a firm favourite of mine, but this dish is as bland as it gets. Drinks were also disappointing with coke being flatter than a pancake. On a positive note, none of the dishes were oily, social distancing was good and the staff were polite and service prompt.
