Julia was so accommodating when we had numerous holidays cancelled due to covid this year. When we able to get away Leah looked after my two dogs wonderfully. They had a lovely time and looked happy and relaxed when we returned. The regular photos and updates were really reassuring. Thank you so much.

My family and I went away for 3 weeks and left our dogs, horses, chickens, guinea pigs, and rats with Miriam from Preseli Animal Homecare. She did a marvelous job while we were away. Nothing was too much trouble. Our menagerie was happy and healthy when we got back.

I have no hesitation, whatsoever, in recommending Preseli Animal Homecare. We've used them at least four times now, and have always had friendly, efficient service. You just have to remember to book well in advance to make sure they can accommodate you. Our dogs are very poor travellers and we have long journeys to visit relatives, one of whom has cats. Before finding this company we had some bad experiences with kennels, they are often noisy, disturbing places, often use young inexperienced staff, and we hated the fact that you have no idea how long your dogs are locked up during the day. Our oldest dog is very sensitive and always came back very upset by the experience. We are now big fans of house/pet sitting. Your pets are in their own home, you (and the pets) get introduced to the person who will be looking after them, and your house is also taken care of while you are away. It is far superior to kennels at little extra cost. Julia and Martin are lovely, friendly people, real animal lovers themselves, with a large menagerie of their own. Well worth five stars.
