I went to wern ddu today with my son, and a friend. It was my son's first time an the owner was so helpful. I have been wern ddu a few time's now, an all the staff are amazing! I will definitely be going back.

We have just come home from a long weekend away at Wern Dun Quarry. We traveled up with 4 kids (Under 5 years) dads on their bikes and the mums! What a fantastic family / friend time we had. The girls where lent some electric balance bikes and spent the entire time riding around exploring, learning, and having the best wild time ever! The mums where happy with the fire pits and beautiful weather, the kids where happy running around, playing and being totally free and the dads where super content with the great riding and exploring to be had on the quarry! The facilities were great, clean and working, but the best thing was the owners... so kind, helpful, friendly, accommodating and lovely! Nothing was too much. We really did have the best time and can't wait to come back! Thank you for having us!!! Also, before arriving, we thought that we were in the middle of no where. There is a lovely local village 7 mins drive away with a butcher, cafe, convenience store and pub!. Also Corwen station is local too for a day trip out!

I booked two tickets last month for my wife and I. The week running up to the event my wife fell ill, flu/covid but we thought she'd be better. Unfortunately she wasn't well enough so I called 24hrs before to ask if they would move my day to a later date - I did not ask for a refund! I was told they do not move dates and that I'd simply have to lose my money. I find this unbelievably unreasonable considering they weren't even sold out for the day (this morning, the day of the ticket, they still had 3 sots available), meaning they would lose no money from moving or crediting me, and I was not preventing them from filling the day. For a small business trying to make a living, the lack of understanding and customer service is hard to believe. I run a similarly small business and we are forever moving things about and being flexible for our customers, to ensure loyalty and longevity. Sadly in this instance I will never visit again and will only tell all of my friends the same. As a result they made 70 for free with no future business whereas a change of dates or a credit for future dates would've made them far more with my return visits. Sad times, very, very unreasonable people!
