Black Mountain Activities

My self and 3 friends have just finished the caving activity. We were guided around by Mick and Jake. Who were amazing made us feel at ease. They gave us challenging session. I would highly recommend this.

Just done the half day Gorge Walk starting at Dinas Rock. We had Sven as our instructor. Really experienced and knowledgeable. Couldn't have had a more informative and safe experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thank you so much.

Our white water rafting session was cancelled at the end of last year due to a large party dropping out at the last minute. The team was very accommodating and allowed us to book on to different activity for the following year, we chose to do the high ropes in the Spring and added our children on. It was a great activity, made even better by the team who took us out. I can't remember all of their names but we do remember Hayden, he was brilliant and had us laughing all day! We're returning again this year to try gorge walking.

We were a group of 10 guys on a, not too drunken stag weekend. Unfortunately we couldn't do the planned white water rafting due to not enough water in the river (who would have thought that for Wales in march). Instead we were given other options and we did archery in the morning, which was far more interesting, educational and entertaining that we could have imagined. In the afternoon we had an interesting and very enjoyable canoeing trip along the Brecon canal. Sunday morning was the planned kart building and racing, which again was much more entertaining than we thought it would be. The instructors were excellent, really helpful and knowledgeable as well as entertaining. I would definitely recommend this venue for outside activities. We had a great time that brought us all together as a group.

What can I say, we booked the day before not knowing what to expect but wow, how amazing this was. Our guide was Sven and what an amazing guide he is, he has extensive knowledge on the area and surroundings, amazing knowledge on the wildlife and plants. I doubt many could even come close to the 'Sven experience' of the gorge let alone surpass it. We travelled far and wide, we went under the rocks, shuffled through small crevices, held our dear lives by the crack of a rock....and plunged into the breathtaking waters of the Brecon beacons, refreshing and cool, not too cold at all, don't let the cold ever put you off, once you have acclimatized to the temperature then you will feel invincible. We went above boulders, through the cool water listening to the birdsong above our heads and the views were spectacular. There are not many places a person can feel free of the worries of the world but one that is doable by everyone is to get out and into the world of cold water dips, along with all the safety precautions. I would recommend this place to everyone I know that is ever visiting the Brecon beacons, it's an experience you will never forget, a beautiful time with an amazing person. This activity will make you feel invincible, powerful and unstoppable Thank you Sven and the team for making our experience so beautiful and wonderful.
