Beautiful settings Cute little shepherds hut had a lovely night stay! Host was nice enough! This place has so much more Potential! It is back to basics its glorified camping basically! Couple of down sides def need a toilet closer and the toilet block lights didnt work! Had to go to loo in the dark! Plates and cups provided but be nice to cutlery to eat with and teaspoons to make a cup of tea! Also some teabags would be nice too not everyone drinks herbal tea! Cups needed a wash! Breakfast was ok, very rustic! Warm home made bread but was served with a dirty bowl with someone elses yogurt n muesli stuck all over the side of the bowl! Looked unwashed! Come with filtered coffee again no tea for us tea lovers! But overall it was ok, so peaceful! And the views were stunning!

We had a lovely little break at the Shepherds Hut, bbq's facing the setting sun in the evening and waking up to a view of Pen y fan in the distance. There's a nice little nature trial which takes you to the river nearby and of course if you hop in the car there's plenty to explore from Hay-On-Wye- to the Brecons. Clare was also fantastic giving us great advice and making delicious hearty breakfasts to start our days, thank you!
