There have been a lot of negative comments and reviews of this place; mostly about parking and staff, so, as someone whos here every day, Im going to address both of these issues; first, theres a huge car park just across the street, thats free! It has 100 spaces. The car park that is immediately in front of the center is all disabled parking for obvious reasons. Second, this place is entirely staffed by amazing, lovely volunteers, who give their time and hard work selflessly. Rudeness begets rudeness. Pleasantness begets pleasantness. Ive seen more than one occasion of a member of the public coming into this center with rude demands and expectations. No smile. No hello. Etc. Ill leave that where it belongs. This place does excellent events, quiz nights, breakfasts, art classes, has a state-of-the-art IT suite, a library, and so much more! So, dont read the negatives and brush is off; come and see for yourself! I only give 4 stars because theres always room for improvement, and that includes everyone and everything in this life.
