        What a gentleman. Phoned the man up and was really helpfully on the phone. When I got there was so surprised to see all of the varieties of top grade hard wood. Helped me chose the perfect oak slabs and planed them flat for me. Great service!!

        If you like oak this timber yard is not to be missed. I was on holiday from Warrington and found AW Hardwoods on the internet. I have never seen such a wonderful collection of oak. I was interested in fairly small off cuts to make boxes but they have a fabulous range of large section oak. The owner was very friendly and personally guided me to a wonderful selection of off cuts. Very reasonably priced and excellent friendly service. It is a little hard to find but trust your sat nav and you will be rewarded by a wondrous experience. The only clue is a sign saying wood yard. Enjoy it. Steve - Warrington
