We thankfully were able to rescue a beautiful French bulldog, but the shelter did send him home with a parasite that was contagious to others (I have a child and another dog). We were made aware he had a parasite, but not contagious. When we picked him up he was happy, which was great and reassuring, but very dirty - mud on him and poo stuck to him bum and back legs.
There has been no contact since we took him home, which to me makes me think, its one dog in and one dog out, without much care about their welfare.
Our dog is absolutely perfect and we love him so much, so would like to thank Many Tears for giving us our new family member.
