        Six elderly folk hired Red Rooster for the day. Boat was well presented. Complete with toilet gas hob drinking water and cabin heater which was much appreciated by the ladies. In spite of the first two hours pouring with rain which cleared to a lovely afternoon we had a splendid 5 hours complete with our picnic hamper and endless hot drinks. Thank you to the friendly staff at reception and the gentleman who explained the ins and out of the boat all of which made far a most enjoyable day. Can highly recommend. Best wishes. Graham, Susan.         I've hired a canoe here a couple of times. The price is reasonable and everyone has been friendly and helpful. It's also a really nice area to go for a paddle.
