Various sizes of anthracite coal on site - anthracite is extremely high quality coal, and this mine is the best (and now only) in western Europe. A specialist product, most of which doesn't even get burned and gets used for stuff like water filtration. This is the only type of fuel that can be used in a solid fuel Aga, which is what I needed it for, and because it's now quite specialist, it made sense to travel to the colliery to collect in person. Don't listen to the climate protestors, they massively inflate the amount of coal that actually gets extracted here (it's about a 20th of what they claim), and also they don't account for how much doesn't get burned. So the actual amount of CO2 emissions the mine is responsible for is absolutely tiny - but it's an important employer and exporter!
