Extremely happy with our stay here in June '17. Absolutely first class hospitality - greeted on arrival with tea and homemade cookies! And the rest of the stay was consistent. The owners Paddy and Paul are a lovely interesting couple. The place itself is an old Water Mill backing onto a stream and the garden is very zen... the greenery, sound of flowing water, bird-song... makes for a very contemplative get-away. The rooms are all named after their views, our looked out over rolling green hills - the ones at the back look over the stream. Leave a little time for a wander along the stream, well worth it. The trip ended with the car not starting (trying to tell us something eh), so had the AA pulling onto the drive to fix us up, of course we were all offered tea to get us back on our way - undampened spirits! Under 10 mins drive to Machynlleth central, and very close to CAT (visited) and various places of interest. Shall stay there again next time I go to CAT!
