Dr Williams has to be by far the most arrogant and useless GP I think Wales has ever had. Failed an end of life 86 year old woman who needed extra pain relief very quickly, was told when he did the house visit that a nurse had requested a driver to be reinstated which seemed to really offend his ego, in doing so that request on the Thursday by Dr Williams was supposed to have had her set up by the weekend as she was in constant terrible pain due to her cancer pain, and a phone call would of been made from the surgery to my wife on the Friday to advise when this would be. After waiting all day Friday for the call we ring the surgery at 3pm only to be told Dr Williams had not requested any call and that he had not arranged anything but would instead discuss this with another doctor next week on the Tuesday......this was someone who actually passed away a week later. From many voices around Garnant when this GP leaves the surgery and retires it will signal a sigh of relief to many.

All surgeries are understaffed and struggling, but they have always prioritised my 1 year old and squeezed him in when needed. Even though there is only 1 doctor who sees to babies, we have always be seen on the day and he is absolutely amazing with the little ones and with reassuring the parents! Would strongly recommend x

Left my 82 year old mother bed-bound with no help for 4 weeks, finally my daughter and I went down and begged for help for my mum and my disabled step-dad who just wasnt coping anymore even with as much help as I could give. The doctor told my mum, who had a cracked vertebrae and was in agony that he didnt believe in pain killers or back braces, she was in so much pain I begged for a doctor make a home visit to check on her because I thought she was dying but he refused and told me to phone and get the paramedics out to her if I was that worried. Mum died this past Saturday, thank you Amman Tawe Partnership for destroying my life. My mum was a fit and able 82 year old who took care of myself and my step-dad, loved a walk round the shops and on the mountain with her dogs, kept a spotless house and kept all her grand children and great grand children in check for me, your total lack of care took her much sooner than she shouldve gone and I will NEVER forgive you or put my trust in you again!

What an absolutely nightmare and shamblolic service with this surgery! No patient should have a 2/3 week battle to have an appointment for a blood test for CANCER!! Open your books sooner!! Fed up of excuses about books not open to make appointments and then when they are open all appointments have gone! One says books are open, the other say they are closed! Cancer medication amongst others are a lifeline to these patients! Also prescriptions are hardly ever correct! Always some missing! I have battled with this surgery for the last 3/4 weeks to sort out life saving medications for my parents!! You have no idea the stress and worry this causes!! Time to fill in an official complaint form and also a form to Hywel Dda health board!! Its horrendous that patients have to go through this every month!! Ive heard too many stories now of people having the same issue!! Needs investigating!!
