        Attended this pub because it was a friend's birthday. This felt like as proper pub. There was a good atmosphere there staff were friendly and polite. I really enjoyed myself there and felt comfortable. The prices were reasonable. I will definitely pop in again in the future.

        It's rare nowadays that l encounter a real local pub with that pub essential; a real pub landlady. Such an authentic pub, if l could transport this pub and landlady back to my home town l would. Extremely dog friendly too and a great choice of beers. Very highly recommended.
