Let's be brutally honest. The Royal Oak has been a below par pub for many years, however, with recent closures of all the local pubs in Greenfield and a few up in the thectown of Holywell, there is no other option. The Royal Oak has long been overdue a makeover, even since our initial wedding breakfast back in the Summer of 1995. The pictures attached to the website are very much out of date and taken in absolutely the best of angles as it is. We only went for a post funeral wake, and most of the family were not impressed, but as we say, nothing else available. Sorry, but it's honest, if only my opinion.
