Awful customer service, time and time again staff are rude or unconcerned.

An absolute shambles of a chemist. Three days running they told me that they hadn't ordered my ten year old Daughter's glucose testing strips in, even though she's a type 1 diabetic and these strips are of the upmost urgency. We were then left stressed, trying to ring around other chemists to find these strips. Had to then travel 15 miles to get them. A few weeks before this, I was told to come back in 20 minutes for my medication, for the Sales Assistant to then say, " oh sorry I forgot to tell you that the fridge broke last night." Every person that picks up their prescription has to wait 20 minutes, even though the staff are mostly stood around chatting and drinking coffee. Avoid at all costs. Completely incompetent.

I was impressed by the staff in here. Recently I have had problems getting my regular medication. The staff in here went above and beyond what was expected of them to get it sorted out for me. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even when they're busy, (and it's nearly always busy in here being immediately next door to the dr surgery) I've seen them make time for a chat with elderly clients who wouldn't usually have much contact with anyone. Yes, it gets busy, but even when the odd person gets irate, the staff stay calm, polite and pleasant. Like many other stores these days , They can refuse to deal with people who get abusive, but they do actually try to resolve the situation there and then. A well stocked pharmacy and shop that is clean and tidy. Prices about on par with supermarkets. My only complaint is it's not open on a Saturday. Maybe they can think about doing a Saturday morning opening?
