        Thanks to Liz sharing those details we prepared for the car return and key drop. I agree the signage for Hertz is terrible, therefore I would like to add that we did first take a wrong turn and drove into the Stena Line entrance. Instead, we had to pass by the ferry entrance and take the small road to the left that runs behind the Stena Line information centre, then alongside the railroad. One we crossed the railroad there are two car rental parking spaces on the left. For the key drop, walk back across the railroad to the building opposite and look for the small Hertz sign.

        They could use a bit more signage to figure out where to park. Very convenient though. The parking is up. Close to the ferry terminal and the key drop box is right next to ferry ticketing. This location is often unattended so be sure you check your car upon dropping it off...maybe even pictures.
