Really good afternoon out. Cafe was good and welcomed dogs inside which makes it excellent! There were several prices for entry listed on the website and a different one when we got there. As there were just a few pounds in it we didn't say anything as it was well worth the price of the ticket. We visited this place about 6 /7 years ago, and it does need some TLC now as it is starting to look a bit shabby. The farm animals were all in hiding but the signs say there are pigs and sheep somewhere in the muddy pens. There were very enthusiastic guides dressed up and giving talks and answering questions. A young chap with multiple swords and instruments shared information on Celtic culture and history at great length and even started singing which was a bit funny in the moment because it took us by surprise, but it made the visit and I would have liked to join in! There was a fire lit in one of the round houses which was great to see in action, however it was unsupervised, which seemed a bit risky with all the children galloping around the place. There is limited phone signal in this sheltered valley spot but there is free WiFi. The babbling brook and picnic spot is just magical. I would recommend this place for a family visit.
