We are visiting this sacred place shortly. We are Welsh and from North Wales. Unfortunately it will take over 3 hours to get there. We intend not to park in the passing places as they are passing places not parking zones as suggested on here but we have identified a couple of suitable hard verges for parking..we never park on a soft verge. The proof is very conclusive that this outcrop is the source of some of the Bluetones used at Stonehenge...chemically they are the same and there is one contoured slab at this site that was the partner of a stone actually at Stonehenge...the cut profile contour is the same...If the ice age was responsible for the transportation of all the slabs from Wales to Wiltshire then there must be more bluestones awaiting discovery in ,what is now England....any ideas of where they are hiding ? I note that many if not all the bluestones were pre-used as henges in their home area before they were taken to their final home....
