Mothers Day meal saved when we were able to book a takeaway Sunday Lunch and dessert from this lovely pub as we were unable to return home as planned as our grandchildren had Covid. From my initial enquiry via messenger on Facebook to the outstanding food we took away, everything was just perfect and everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Definitely one of the best Sunday roasts weve ever had, all homemade, meat was beautifully tender with deliciously seasoned vegetables, homemade Yorkshire pudding and stuffing, ample portions and reasonably priced too! We cant wait to return as soon as we can to start exploring their very inviting looking evening meal menu! There is such a lovely ambiance in this pub and you can tell a lot of hard work has gone into achieving this, we would definitely recommend The Sporting Chance 100%.
