Three terrible experiences. Bought some crockery and the gentleman serving me broke one, then told me I could have it half price after I said i didnt want it anymore. I still proceeded to say no thank you, to which he said I could have it for free. Got back to the car and realised he'd charged me full price. Took my daughter in another time and she was carrying her favourite Teddy, it comes everywhere with her. Again, got back to the car and they'd charged me 1 for her own teddy! Then the biggest, bought I bulk item that I was in desperate need of, paid for delivery and told that the item would be removed from shop floor until delivery date. Only to be called a day later and told that my item had been sold on to somebody else!! Will never go in this charity shop again.

Big shop with 2 floors selling a great selection of pre-loved furniture including sofas, dining tables & chairs, cabinets, beds etc plus other household items such as crockery & bedding. I think you can have large items delivered for a small charge. They always have really nice cushions on the sofas but you cant buy any of them unless you are buying the sofa which is a shame. The clothes section is small compared to other charity shops in the town but there are usually some nice items at very appealing prices. Take plenty of change with you as they often seem to have very little in the till and you can only pay by card if you spend more than 5. Ive knocked off one star as some of the staff are a bit offish and grumpy (like I said, take plenty of change as it seems to annoy some of them when they have to rummage in the till!)
