Placed on top of Sirhowy-Tredegar these Stones stand proud against the skyline in memory of Aneurin Bevan who founded the National Health Service in the United Kingdom. There is a car park from where you can view the stones as the path from the car park to the stones is not wheelchair accessible. This is a popular walking area and the stones are near a large pond. The track behind the stones attracts local dog walkers. There can be roaming horses on the mountainside. This is also a popular area explored by families with children. There are no amenities here so bring drinks and snacks.

Tucked away near Tredegar are these memorial stones dedicated to Aneurin Bevan. The photos here were taken on a Winters day, no filter, absolutely stunning. Less stunning is the disgraceful disrespectful mess of litter left all around the stones, in the car park, and by rather than in the bins.
