I don't normally do reviews but I need to here. I can't thank these guys enough for the service they provided through such a difficult time. They were friendly and helpful right from the start. Always with good advice on hand. Hopefully won't need their services for a long time but if I do I'll definitely use Clive and the team again. Thank you for everything guys, you made it that bit easier for myself and my family. ( I would recommend Scarrets of Beaufort for a wake and Carls Catering - guy with the burger van by Brynmawr McDonlads, for the food.)

Recommended as a good funeral directors. How very wrong and upsetting this turned out. On arrival i was greeted by the owner. Very soon i was offered a limited choice of coffins and it was his choice or no choice (possibly the cheapest). When i asked if i could see a choice of colours for the lining i was then offered what the owner thought should be acceptable to everyone. The colour of our choice for the coffin linning had to be ordered at the time of our visit. So unless one asks to see the selection youll be offered very basic for a higher cost. When asked if a card payment could be made i waz told that due to the situation with there card machine the payment itself had to be by cash only. Later the same day i had to contact the company whereby the wife of the company came on the phone with a very non caring annoyed that i called. This attitude is apparently her normal self so i was later informed by people whose delt with this company in the past. Though she did come out with the typical nonsense of your shouting when there was no shouting. When visiting the following day after an email sent discussed a previously made arrangements was discussed and planned. On the face of it they were not sympathetic towards the family concerned. The wife stated that the husband of the deceased could go and find another director if he continued asking if they had recied the death certificate. Previously the director stated he hadn't recieved the green form from the registrar when it had been sent to this firm 24 hours earlier. Not a very professional move. So the enquiry was to find out if he had now recieved it. If 3 to 4 weeks isnt bad enough to wait then this nonsence was another When i looked for another funerals company they took over and within the same day they were able to give me time with my wife and dates of the crematorium. During a conversation. I will never use this funeral director again.

Absolutely appalled by the service my family has received while grieving the loss of a family member. Money was definitely main priority over the fact that as a family we are grieving. Even though arrangements had been made for payment of the funeral services, and a substantial deposit also being paid, this still wasnt enough. Understandably, we knew the money had to be paid, even under difficult circumstances. But due to prior arrangements with a different colleague who knew our situation, we thought everything was sorted. To then be told this wasnt the case in such an abrupt and rude manner by another colleague was just appalling. Maybe a bit of communication between both parties would aid in better customer service, because the customer service skills for this company have proved to be nothing short of wholly inadequate. To be treated in such an inconsiderate and insensitive manner is the last thing youd expect from the people you trust to deal with the funeral arrangements for a loved one. Completely incompassionate and unsympathetic on every level.
