Had to visit Lloyds Bank in order for our uncle to open an account, at 92 it is challenging for him to do on his own. The service that we received from Jodie and Deb was exceptionally polite, friendly and professional. It puts my bank nationwide to shame. Whilst waiting for my wife to assist in opening the account I sat on a sofa and casually observed the team working. Having managed thousands of people over the years as well as billions of 's I can honestly say that I would have had no hesitation in taking on Jodie and Deb. If you want a role model in a bank Jodie has that and more, also Deb showed incredible empathy with our uncle and us. Fab service. One note though: sitting on the sofa you can see the monitor display near the telephone interview room. People using the monitor may not be aware that data onscreen can be seen by others. It would be sensible to try and hide the screen or rotate it to protect GDPR.

Bank is in an area where people do shifts. Bank is closed by 2 pm so I cant pay money in by the time I get there at 2:30pm. No explanation as to why it is not a part time bank. Please return to normal operational schedule. If you use external cash points to pay in, it is not instant. So if you pay in Friday at 2:01 it wont touch your bank till Monday. Easier and faster to open bank account in tesco and transfer money. They are open 7 days a week
