We've had the most amazing well needed break! Can't fault the cottage and the hosts are so lovely and the cottage itself is absolutely beautiful and spotless! The real fire was an absolute treat after a 4 hour walk in the fresh winter air. The beds are super comfy & everything we needed in the kitchen to cook. There is parking here. We visted the local pub too which was great. Porthmadog and the beach is only a short drive too which was a fab day out. The kids loved the zip wires which is about 5-10 mins away and I believe is open all year round. We can't wait to come again!! Thank you so much Barbara & Mike!

I recently stayed here with my girlfriend and we found this cottage to be the perfect little getaway for the week we stayed. It was far away enough from everywhere that it was perfectly peaceful, the only sound being that of a little stream across the street and at nights the faint hooting of owls and other wildlife. Ours days consisted of a lazy morning, then visiting the beach town of Llandudno, Snowdon, Swallow falls, etc. All beautiful places, all under an hour a drive. After a day of exploring wed make it back to the cottage just in time to see the sun disappear from the valley in which the town sits. At night if you are lucky and the sky isnt overcast, youll have a view of the stars that we just dont get in the city. Its not utterly perfect of course, you have to duck in two of the doors, I dont mind admitting I bumped my head once or twice but I learned after that, the parking was cosy and lastly that the nearest supermarket is approximately 30 minutes away, so make sure you dont forget anything! But for us, these were completely fine, the supermarket was to do with the remoteness, which is what we wanted after all, and the other two are a product of the property being a old little cottage tucked away, which is what we signed up for. All in all, this was the perfect getaway and when we come back, we would absolutely consider staying in this same cottage again if its available. Great price, great place, none of the problems were problems at all as we see it.
