This is a lovely place with nice pitches in a working farm, but the shower/WC facility was a bit of a disappointment. Only two WC and one shower (needed a good cleaning) for a whole camping site. It would also be nice to mention on the website that the shower is not free to use (1 for 3 minutes). Overall, considering the price for the shower, it was a a bit expensive but nothing crazy. We would consider coming back only with a new sanitary block installed.

We have stayed many times at Bryn Y Gwin with our family group. We have seen progressive improvements over the years and we noted on our most recent stay that a new toilet and shower facility was under construction. When this is completed it will make the site 5 star in our opinion. Our grandkids love the free reign that they can enjoy in the lovely wooded areas and streams. However common sense dictates that younger children should be supervised in these wild areas. There are superb walks direct from the site including the fantastic Cader Idris range. We also visit without our grandkids and we love the peace and tranquillity this site offers. Ian and family always make us very welcome.
