Cefn Maelan Caravan Park

This review is long overdue! We originally caused a small incident when our car accidentally got stuck on the campsite after sunset, but Archie - and some very friendly campers - immediately came to the rescue, and we are still very grateful for that to this day! He also offered to camp on his property that night. We had the cat with us but that wasn't a problem at all. We slept like a baby after that eventful evening, and woke up in the morning with the most beautiful view and some grazing sheep right next to the tent (which btw was good cat TV). We highly recommend this campsite! Thanks again Archie for your help that night! Cheers from the Belgian couple with the cat.

Amazing site with wonderful views Dawn till dusk, one of the best sites I have been on, amazing owners Archie and Cath, can't do enough to help, spotlessly clean showers and toilets, can't wait to return.

We have just returned from a fantastic Bank holidays day weekend break at Cefn Maelan. Wonderful campsite in stunning surroundings, Archie is a fantastic host and was very helpful throughout our stay We definitely return at some point. I cannot recommend this site more highly

Busy but quiet caravan and campsite with a fantastic view of Cader Idris (clouds permitting). Friendly and helpful owners. Very tame robin if you camp in the little field in the middle. Very clean toilets and showers (bring 50p). Also a real bargain: we paid only 13.50 for one adult and two kids in a VW campervan.

Brilliant site, excellent facilities and the owners are very accommodating, would like to visit again on another cycling tour.
