Amazing cottage in an awesome location. Feels like a true home away from home and we were very sad to leave. You have thought of everything and the EV charger is so useful. When we had an issue with the EV charger, the owner helped us so promptly. The nearest pub (George III) is very welcoming and there is an easy 50 minute walk into Dalgellau. The pizzas at The Stag Inn are some of the tastiest we have ever had. Lots of places to visit nearby and the owners have left a folder with really useful information included. Would recommend a hike up Cadair Idris, the Velocity 2 zip wire and a visit to Barmouth, Aberdovey and Aberystwyth. Thanks again - North Wales is truly beautiful and the cottage is just perfect. I will always remember the stunning view.

We stayed here with friends early March 2020. What a lovely property which has undergone a very tasteful and considered renovation. Furnishings and finish are of a very high quality. Home from home with everything you need provided for a relaxing break. The property is in a beautiful location with fantastic views and beautiful gardens. Interesting area with local pubs and towns and plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed with friends at Bryn Hyfryd in Penmaepool for a few days, and despite the weather we had a lovely time in this beautifully appointed and well maintained bungalow. The decor and finish is lovely, with the lounge and main bedroom having great views across the estuary. It is very relaxing , and the owners have provided plenty of information of local areas/walks to read and explore. Plenty of attention to detail - good quality bedding, well equipped kitchen etc, and its worth visiting George 111 pub - just walk down the garden and across the road! Would love to stay again.

Wow was the first word that we all said when walking into Bryn Hyfryd and seeing the perfect view from the lounge and master bedroom. We knew the photos looked good and knowing where the property we were very fortunate with the location. The cottage was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy with the most amazing sofa to relax on and watch the world go by... The beds, mattresses and duvets were divine to lie on and toasty warm. A very well equipped kitchen and the attention to detail was excellent. (There have been some cottages we have stayed in elsewhere that look and feel as though they have been kitted out as an afterthough.) We have holidayed in the area before so we know it well. We are also very lucky that we only live about 80 mins away. We even managed to bump into some of our daughter's schoolfriends whilst in Barmouth. The George III is a lovely pub, warm and welcoming with a selection of ales and very nice food! Highly recommend THughes in Dolgellau for amazing food and tea! Lots of walks from the cottage or within a short drive. Thank you for the loan of your beautiful cottage, we plan to return.... Mike, Denise and Pip
