Phoned as passing thru ,with 2 dogs table sorted within 20 mins , food was amazing as was the service. Very well presented pub/restaurant highly recommend food here , my braised lamb is worth a drive back to have , Very dog friendly with water offered

Have been a number of times to The Goat for meals. The food is always excellent. The refurbishment is excellent and the pub looks lovely Came last night 30th April for a meal was a little disappointed with the service - it was really slow. Our table was booked for 6.30pm with a time slot of an hour and a half. It took over an hour to get our main course and once finished took a while for someone to clear the table. We were in the area near the toilets and it would appear that maybe tables in that area are over looked. Can't fault the food - excellent as always

Visited this evening with my family, very friendly staff made sure we had everything we needed seated by a lovely man and our waitress was very lovely. The food is amazing highly recommend the lasagne and veggie curry ! Beautiful new decor. What a gem !
