An isolated church not far from the village of Pentrefelin, which was central to a community that disappeared due to a plague. It now sits alone overlooking the marsh that was once a lake. A poignant reminder of the changes and the catastrophes that can envelope once thriving communities. Now, in the care of The Friends of Friendless Churches, a charity that maintains and cares for numerous small churches whose congregations are no longer sufficient to support them. The surrounding enclosure is full of graves and memorials that attest to the history of the people of the area.

Beautiful location, very off the beaten track. Fascinating interior. Redundant but cared for by Friends of Friendless Churches. Massive thanks for what you do!
