Dinas Island Farm

The site is in a lovely location, basic toilets and very low water pressure to fill up with, steep and narrow entrance road but no problem as it has passing places. Now for the BUT Theres a serious Health & Safety issue on this site due to an electric fence very close to the pitches. Legally these need a warning at the start and end of the fence and subsequent warnings every 50m. This has none and it isnt obvious that its electric. My dog while on a close lead got a belt and off it which made him jump through the fence and consequently get another half dozen shocks getting him back through it. This could just have easily have been a child!!!

I have really enjoyed my time at Dinas island farm campsite. You can get to awesome beaches via the coast path, including the ones along from Pwllgwaelod, heading towards Fishguard. You can walk to seal bay from Strumble head lighthouse. Meet the greedy goats at CIFP (Cardigan Island Farm Park), the multi-million crabs at Cwm-yr-eglwys (you can walk to this one, as you can with Pwllgwaelod), and the dolphins possible to see at and around Dinas head. The places around here in Pembrokeshire truly ARE amazing (times 100,000), not to mention the perfect paddling spots! I can say -100 bad things about this site. Dont forget to look out for the bats by the recycling barn at 9:00 PM! From Ollie - age 8

Great camp site , walking distance to the beaches, nice and clean with very good toilet and shower facilities , will definitely be returning
