        Absolute bliss! I stayed in The Skirrid and had a lovely comfortable evening. Electric fire was a lovely addition to the cottage, extremely cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the cottage was spotless and clean. Lovely to wake up to the horses just outside the cottage. Wonderful would definitely stay again. The owners are also lovely and friendly.

        More spacious than expected, very clean and well appointed. Stunning views across to the fields nearby with horses as neighbours. Enjoyed having ensuite shower/bath rooms to all three bedrooms. Direction link sent to us via email was spot on as advised post code alone was inaccurate. We are not the types to enjoy too much interaction with 'reception staff' but we had NO face to face contact with anyone on arrival, during our stay or on departure which is a shame, even when I reported a loose glass shelf in the bathroom, which I had to remove to avoid it slipping and smashing, I was told they would sort it after we had left. A lovely, self-catering base to explore the Wye Valley and surrounding area.
