My girlfriend and I had a fantastic day throwing 4 bowls, a plate, a mug and a serving dish each. Steve is an excellent teacher and very patient. 100% recommend this to anyone who fancies a go at pottery!

My boyfriend and I booked this pottery class as part of a birthday present, as were very interested in pottery but beginners. Being completely new to pottery, Steve was great, explaining every step of the process clearly via an eye-view camera, then letting us have a go ourselves while helping along the way. During the day, we made four bowls, a serving dish and a decorative vase each, and were so pleased with the outcomes, with each pieces decorated using a variety of different techniques we also learnt. Overall, we had such a great time, and Steve is a wonderful teacher, would absolutely love to come back again!

I bought a day experience for my girlfriend as a Christmas present (both of us being absolute beginners), it far exceeded our expectations with a carefully curated day full of different pottery techniques, we each threw two bowls, made a serving platter and used a screen printing technique to decorate it, and threw and joined a vase together. Steve was the perfect teacher, with decades teaching pottery in Japan we were definitely in good hands! A rare opportunity to learn from a master of his craft, I highly recommend to anyone wanting to do some pottery! It was so good we're going back again next weekend!
