Tried to charge me 750 for the following: 1) Diagnose why engine was overheating 2) Supply and fit thermostat 3) Supply and fit coolant control housing 4) Carry out wiring repair to control solenoid When I questioned why the figure was so high (he initially quoted 435 to do 1,2 and 3) he offered to bump the price down to 655. If the job actually cost 750, why would you accept 655? Because 750 was the price you made up to make more money. He had my vehicle for two weeks, to do the above jobs. In that time, he lent me a vehicle which broke down on the A55, after 20miles of driving. Final nail in the coffin, he said I should bring my van back in next week, for them to put some Steel Seal in it, as he was concerned the head gasket might be going. Steel Seal can be bought from Halfords, and the instructions on how to use it are printed on the back. Who needs a garage for that? Only positive were the two women in reception, whose names Ive sadly forgotten. They were lovely throughout the whole process
