The food was tasty but...at about 6pm on Christmas Eve, we placed a telephone order (2 meals), which they said we should be able to collect at about 6.45-6.50pm. We also placed a telephone order at Tai Wing Express (3 meals), which they said we should be able to collect at 6.45pm. We also wanted a donner kebab from Star Grill. So...this is how it went. Firstly we (two of us) went to Tai Wing Express - we waited a few mins for one of the orders to be ready (the noodle dish) and then we left with our hot food. Next, one of us went in to Coriander to pick up that order, while the other went to Star Grill to order a donner kebab...by now, it was about 6.50pm. The kebab was prepared and I took it to the car to wait for the Coriander order to come along. 40 minutes later, the Coriander order arrived. I'm guessing that in spite of taking our phone order, they only started cooking it once we'd arrived to pick it up. Needless to say, the kebab needed to be thrown in the microwave and the the Chinese food was lukewarm by the time we got to eat it. It was Christmas Eve and they may have been extra busy but I don't think that's a good excuse for poor practice. There were two other people in the shop, also waiting for their takeaways to be ready...one of them wasn't sounding very happy. As I said at the start, the food was good (and hot, unlike everybody else's!) and maybe they'll have sorted their process out by the time you visit. I wasn't as calm as this on the night.
