Awful experience! (later edit below - in the end it was ok and a serious business: we would buy again from them) We bought one machine (JCB JS220LC) from 'D Jones Plant Hire & Sales Ltd' on Oct 2019. At that moment we tested the machine in D Jones Plant's yard and realized that it was not working fine. Mr. David Jones confirmed that the machine has problems, but he emphasized that he knows the initial owner of the machine, it's a very good machine except this "engine problem that's very minor. The injectors need to be changed", said Mr David. He promised the engine issue will be fixed by him and we'll receive a ready-to-work machine. That was our agreement! The rest is history! Having these words from Mr David we declined another machine in good condition, tested with real work. After one month we wired the payment we had received home the machine in exactly the same condition like when we tested it in UK. It took more than 1 year to fix the hidden issue of the machine (the engine ECU was the problem of the machine) which was totally unusable during this year. The total cost for us to fix this issue was over 8,000 (we have invoices for every penny spent). Taking into consideration that we needed to rent another machine for 1 year, in total we expect to loss more than 20,000 because we trusted Mr David who didn't respect his initial word and our agreement to deliver a working machine. We issued a proforma to him to contribute only to the repair and services we did to the machine as we changed again injectors, we replaced the fuel rail assy, we checked the entire electrical wiring and so on... Till now no penny paid by 'D Jones Plant Hire & Sales Ltd'. For one year the machine was unassembled like in the sunny photo (the others are from D Jones' yard). Later edit: I re-evaluated the review from 1 star to 4 stars as in the end Mr. Jones provided as much help as he could and he contributed to the repair expenses.
