While at this barn, a HUGE swarm of flies was hibernating in the attic, which was then awoken by the heating the house up (as advised by an independent pest control officer) and started to come through the light fittings. The owner has truly awful customer service, she was so illogical and insulting during our communication that we were forced to use the agents as mediators. Overall, an incredibly traumatising and stressful experience. I have a video which shows the full extent, however, google will not allow such a large file. I am also suspicious that holidaycottages.co.uk will not be posting my review on their website. A complete shame. The owner admitting true responsibility and handling the situation with some class, instead of wild and untrue accusations, would have eradicated the need for such a review. The title of the barns states new management, however, do you not think this statement is misleading when the owner remains the same? I have NEVER had such an awful experience going on holiday. Stay away!
