Small but pretty site with some of the most friendly and helpful wardens I've ever met. I love the fact it's near a railway line, I love the sound of various trains running past. (yes really, I'm not being sarcastic ). It's a good base for visiting the many great walking routes in the Welsh / English borders. The pitches are long and narrow so you park your car crossways at the front of it.

A lovely little site, nice and flat and we were on hard standing. It has a nice dog walk which is fenced and the pathway takes you down to the river which is shallow enough in places for the dog to play in. The pitches are only wide enough for the caravan and awning so you have to park your car across the front of the pitch. This meant only half of my awning was actually on hard standing as I have a big twin axle. The trains did worry me when I first got there, but I did not hear them over the Saturday or Sunday, maybe they were on strike again Site is clean and well maintained, the wardens were friendly and always available.
