        Great place for a beer, cider or wine and an interesting range of small bites. We enjoyed the crisps and humus, saucisson and baby cornichons, Welsh dragon egg (scotch egg) with fruit chutney.

        My partner and I stopped in for a drink. Within half an hour the table across from us, who were clearly friends of the pub as they were known by name to the staff, started debating within earshot, who myself and my partner looked like. At that point it wasn't subtle. Proceeding this, the most egregious member of the group, went to another table, and pointed at my partner and I, asking their opinion of who we looked like. The other table said sorry to us across the room as they were dragged into describing our looks by this man for no reason. I wouldn't leave a review if it wasn't clear that these people were staples of the pub. This is the first time I've ever felt so uncomfortable that I've left a pub. It is not okay to comment on people's looks for absolutely no reason. We were just trying to have a quiet drink.
