Positives: Super friendly staff; even called me twice during the day to check that travel was going okay during a snowy spell. Comfortable, clean room. Continental breakfast was welcome. Pub seemed really nice but we arrived late and left early so didn't get a chance to fully experience it. Corwen's nice.
Negatives: It was a cold night (BBC national news focused on somewhere only a few miles up the road as being uncommonly cold) and we should have asked for a blanket.
Things to watch for: Restaurant gets busy apparently - they were done serving by the time we arrived but I suspect might not have had space for us anyway. Parking takes a little coordination. Shower temperature waved up and down.
Conclusions: Keen to stay here again.
