I'd inadvertently let my pup rule the roost and was desperate to sort out his undesirable behaviours. I am so glad I came to Kelford Dog Training. Kelly assessed us both and designed a personal training plan. I have a much better understanding of my pups behaviour and I feel better equipped to deal with it. Although we are just at the beginning of the rebalancing programme I can already see a difference. Highly recommend.

We have just welcomed home our wonderful little black lab who was searched for and had her basic level training completed by Kelly of Kelford Training. I was speechless when collecting her and seeing our pups initial interaction with my daughter (given her fear of dogs), it just says everything. From first meeting Kelly, and then through the whole search process and pups training, her service and attention to detail was second to none. Kellys knowledge of dog behaviour and the techniques she uses are quite extraordinary and a privilege to witness. As a family we couldnt recommend her highly enough. After 1 week of having our pup home, we also know Kelly is still there to help and guide us and it means so much. We couldnt be more pleased to have found her - forever grateful, the Lloyd family x

Kelly was recommended to me by a fellow Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla owner. Our dog had fear aggression. I spent 3 days in Wales with Kelly to benefit from her experience to move my dog forward. We are doing really well and introducing my dog to new people, with me taking the lead.

I am so glad I found Kelford Dog Training and knew straight away when I met Lyndon, that this was how dogs should be trained. I actually dont even like to use the word train because what Lyndon does involves something more deeper than simple instructions and using treats! Just seeing how he builds a relationship and understanding with the dog is humbling and made me realise how disconnected I was to Brock. Working with Lyndon has taught me so much more than just making my dog sit or come etc, I have a deep connection and mutual understanding now with Brock that I never would have received from conventional training. I will continue to work with Lyndon for many years to come. I never post reviews however I feel strongly that others should be made aware of the Kelford way. Ps you will never see Lyndon training with treats as rewards - they dont work! How amazing is it that your dog responds to you because they want to, not because theres a biscuit!

I would highly recommend Kelly and Kelford Kennels. Because of my complex family situation, I wanted the best of both worlds, a puppy and a trained dog. Kelly enabled this to happen through the Puppy Selection and Foundational Training Program. From the first point of contact Kelly showed a depth of knowledge that underpinned the selection of the correct breed of dog for my family. She quickly grasped our needs, being honest in weighing the pros and cons of the many suitable breeds and potential litters of dog. I found the process to be professional, thorough, honest, and very comprehensive. At each step of the process, I was kept informed, and indeed, was very much involved in the picking and the development of the puppy as she went through the program. Kellys foundation training techniques have been highly effective. Our personal situation has been far from stable, but the training has enabled the dog to successfully negotiate the hurdles of our life. The dog is now 9 months old and has been consistent in her obedience, even when we have not! There was a thorough hand over process, with comprehensive personal instruction book and videos demonstrating each training technique, but even so, there were practical questions of application and behaviour that arose over time. Kelly consistently responded to any queries promptly, giving clear and practical instructions with a successful outcome. I feel that the standard of the business is often seen in the after sales support, here Kelly showed her high levels of commitment and professionalism. Throughout all, Kelly has demonstrated that this was more than a business. She has shown a caring and concern that went above and beyond a business agreement.
