We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Old Vicarage in Wales, and I must say it was a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the warm welcome we received from the owners, Kirsty and Gareth. It's clear that they take great pride in their establishment, and it shows in every aspect of the hotel. The hotel itself is simply stunning. It's just like the pictures that we had seen on their social media and other outlets - beautifully decorated with a charming and cosy boutique hotel style. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities that you could ask for. We particularly loved the attention to detail in the decor - it really gave the rooms a personal touch. The location of The Old Vicarage is simply breathtaking. Surrounded by lush green forests and a crystal-clear stream with a waterfall next to the house, it's the perfect place to unwind and relax. I loved exploring the area - there's so much to see and do, from taking a steam train ride to visiting a beautiful cave or even scaling Snowdonia mountain. It's the perfect location for families, hikers and mountain bikers alike. One thing that really stood out during our stay was the hospitality of Kirsty and Gareth. They really go above and beyond to ensure that their guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The breakfast was outstanding, made with local produce of bio quality from small and family businesses from the area. It was great to taste the original food and culture of the Corris area, and we loved knowing that we were supporting the local economy. Overall, we would highly recommend The Old Vicarage to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway in Wales. Kirsty and Gareth are fantastic hosts, the hotel is beautifully decorated and the location is simply stunning. It's the perfect place to recharge your batteries and immerse yourself in the natural beauty and culture of this wonderful area.

A quality, tranquil location run by Gareth and Kirsty. Their attention to detail is unrivalled. A super friendly place to relax and unwind. Breakfast is excellent. I loved the full Welsh breakfast on day one. Day two, it was eggs benedict - absolutely yummy!
