Great food great service best Indian restaurant and takeout in the area. Tonights visit 6 of us ordered starters and mains what can I say we have dined in many Indian restaurants all over the country and some of them in main Indian areas and the jasala rates in the top 5, the dishes never disappoint always delicious, if you want to eat in I recommend you book, if you dine in or takeaway you will not be disappointed, I cannot recommend Jalsa enough

Distinctly average curry - it wasnt fantastic but it wasnt awful either - just middle of the road. I had a chicken tikka jalfrezi and my wife had a lamb tikka rogan Josh - first of all you do get a lot of meat which is refreshing. This is the first thing that most restaurants will reduce to keep costs down and maximise profits. My wifes lamb tikka wasnt lamb - it was mutton as it was tough and not tender as youd expect lamb to be. Both dishes lacked in flavour and seasoning. Ive had much better takeaway curries and was expecting good things based on all the reviews. Pretty sure I wont be returning.
