Recently celebrated a 50th Birthday at Virgilios. Generally Food is good, service is good also, we have always enjoyed the food with no complaints, hence why I booked a Birthday party, but on this occasion the party complained that there was far too much garlic on their meals, which they felt they couldnt eat much of it, and especially on a hot stone which burnt the garlic making it taste bitter, found the steaks were very fatty this time, and was promised the room to ourselves, but found other people were eating in, was dissappointed as we could have invited more friends and family, and due to this we were positioned right up to the main entrance of the restaurant which meant people opening and closing the door to go out for cigarettes and passing every so often. Unfortunately will not be returning for a good while...

During my recent visit to a restaurant, I found that their card machine was out of order, and I inquired about alternative payment options. I explained to them that I only had the capability to pay through my phone, which is linked to my bank account, or by bank transfer. However, the restaurant insisted on cash payment, which posed a problem for me. To resolve the issue, I suggested transferring the payment for the meal in front of them and waiting for their confirmation of receipt. However, they claimed that they didn't have a bank account. When I asked where the funds received via the card terminal were deposited, they were unable to provide a satisfactory answer. As a result of this situation, my children and I were unable to eat at the restaurant. Moreover, the restaurant staff deemed my suggestion of an online transfer as impolite and called me rude. I was disappointed by the restaurant's unwillingness to find a solution to this problem and provide good customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience.
