Firstly I cannot fault the vets that dealt with our very poor dog they were first class and very empathetic, however I have two issues: 1). as you would expect cost of emergency treatment especially at 03.00hrs in morning is expensive however getting a bill for in excess of 1000 with no breakdown of treatment and cost I think is unacceptable 2) secondly and more importantly we were requested by our vets at Rhyd Brougton to pick up our dog and take him to Colwyn bay on Monday 17/04 at 18.00hrs due to Vets Now not having cover due to sickness, this was both traumatic and uncomfortable for our dog who was on a drip and intravenous drugs and very poorly. We then had to return at 07.30hrs the following morning to return him to Rhyd Broughton - a total trip of over 200miles. We are very fortunate to be retired and flexible to be able to carry this out. Fortunately our dog after one week is now showing signs of recovery due to initial expertise of Vets Now vet and the follow on care and treatment at Rhyd Broughton.

We took our dog who was behaving strangely and couldnt stand properly. Charlie the vet was fantastic, she diagnosed toxin poisoning, Bella had gone missing for 40 minutes earlier in the day. She explained the treatment thoroughly, was non judgemental about us allowing Bella to escape from our garden. She reassured us that shed ring if Bella got worse and when I rang in the morning she was honest about Bellas condition. Fortunately Bella made a full recovery and I cant thank Charlie and Lucy enough for their care of her overnight.

I don't know whether the vet did enough to establish what was wrong with my dog, we left there late on sat night and he had died by 7.30pm on Sunday day evening. I'm too upset at the moment to be honest
