My mother in law was offered a job here. However as the paperwork wasnt filled in and signed in their time frame ( which was never specified ) they withdrew the offer. My mother in law is highly qualified regarding care of special needs adults and children and would have been a asset. The reason there was a delay with her paperwork was she was severly ill with coronavirus for nearly 2 weeks. She communicated with the nursery when able to say she couldnt come in and get the paperwork. They have shown no empathy or professionalism handling this matter and my daughter actually attends this nursery currently. I can say the nursery staff involved in caring for my child seem adequate and she enjoys her day but if this is how they treat there staff or potential staff it makes me think twice about keeping her here. Update In response to your response i just wanted to correct some of your errors. You did not wait two weeks the latest correspondence was 9th of may ( which is in email form and you replied ). Which even as of today it is not two weeks and at no point did you state there was a time limit on your offer. As soon as she was able she contacted you. She had observations she wanted to discuss not reservations and was waiting until she started to discuss these. You repeatedly talk about her contacting you or even me contacting you , why were you unable to make contact ? Communication is a two way street and she had a severe illness. She could have specified precisely what was wrong but you could also have provided a courtesy call before you ( extremely quickly ) gave the job to someone else . I did contact sarah we agreed to disagree about what has occured as you all seem exceptionally defensive and unapologetic when ive pointed out your errors and moral standards. I understand you are protective of your business but you have stated you welcome constructive criticism when evidence suggests you do not and then said ' if it is factual.' This implies i am lying which i am not and have proof of what i say. If you do welcome constructive criticism i would advise you look closely at your recruitment system and make some changes including notifying candidates there is a time limit on signing and returning a contract to avoid similar issues in future. I have cancelled my sons application and have put in my notice to withdraw my daughter. My mother in law doesnt want to pursue it i just wanted to make sure the FACTS were presented for other people to see when considering nursery settings.

Beware parents for anyone with vulnerable children. I would give a zero rating if I could! This place was horrendous, I had my 2 year old going here everyday as I had to work and he came home one day sprouting all sorts of racist words about black and brown people. After reporting to the nursery they promised all these changes they were going to make but did not stick to. In the end I pulled my son from this place and reported them to the inspection commission. If you care about your children do not use this nursery, they care more about what is convenient for them than keeping your child safe in my experience.

My 9 month old attends Springfield's nursery for two days a week however I was very reluctant to put her into nursery because I'd never been away from her. We attended the free parent and baby group with Liza and was made to feel so welcomed the group was fantastic and built up mine and my daughters confidence. The staff were friendly and to be truthful simply amazing my daughter has a new best friend at nursery now who is called Auntie Emily who takes care of my little one. Riv has come on leaps and bounds since starting nursery and I thank all the staff who have been apart of that.
