Easy access on-street parking located outside the shop. Clean and contemporary with a welcoming atmosphere. Paul is a consummate professional who obviously knows what hes doing. Booked an 11am slot for 45 minutes and was in the chair at 11am for the full 45 minutes. He really pays attention to what hes doing to deliver the desired look. Will book again soon.

I visited Barber Code after a persuasive positive recommendation from a friend. Id had enough of picking a hight-street barber at random, only to have my hair lopped-off willy-nilly. I visited Paul and was very impressed. I had of late admittedly allowed my hair and beard to grow out of control. My unkempt locks had become a subject of much ridicule and disdain amongst friends, family and occasionally members of the public; many of which had been begging me to revive my appearance. No doubt I looked uncivilised; more like a barbarian, or a vagrant, than a respectable member of society. Paul welcomed me and discussed some options appropriate to my face, head and hair shape. I felt bad presenting myself to him, given the state of my mane and my thick curly hair being encased in plaster (I had come straight from work). however, his array of specialist barber paraphernalia and being the veteran that he is, he had no problems in approaching the birds nest that was my head and face with a casual air of reassurance. Paul is instantly likeable; a gentleman; more of a craftsman, or indeed artist, than your usual barber. His persistence and attention to detail is commendable. He had transformed my appearance from an overweight doppelgnger of Marv from Home Alone, to a credible candidate for man of the year 2023. Thank you Paul, I will no doubt be recommending Barber Code and will be frequenting again in the near future. Services: Beard trim, Curly hair
