I moved here from forge road a few years ago and i am so glad i made the move. The reception staff are so nice when you phone. I dont dread ringing like i used to in my old doctors. The doctors are lovely too and have empathy and listen to you. I highly recommend here.

I have never been so grateful to the hard work and effort these people here make at the surgery. The pressure they must be under is intense. I like the fact that I can request prescriptions/alterations to my medication via email and you actually get a timely response and informed on when these emails have been passed over to a doctor for review not left hanging around wondering if your email is sat in a long queue. I have never encountered (to date) any problems with any of my prescriptions not being sent over to the pharmacy. I also like that the pharmacy sends you a text message to let you know your medication is available to be collected rather than the "sorry it's not been received yet response" which is reassuring that the surgery and pharmacy have a clear line of communication. I know millions of us have experienced extreme frustration in this with other places. They have always been good to help me with my on going medical problems. They have never refused me an appointment if I have asked for one urgently. They do their best for telephone triage if they can. I fully support the use of the "My Health Online" app to be able to get alot of things done without having to jam up the phones when I need to make a request for an appointment which gives flexibility to chose the times and dates more freely (subject to availability) and having the option to select the GP or Clinician required having this app in my view is great to enable the reception staff to keep phone lines free for others who might struggle with technical applications or for those who may want to discuss their requirements over the phone. Nobody enjoys being on hold. Sometimes the parking can be abit hit and miss but that does not reflect the standards of the practice. Inside the surgery it looks very clean and a safe distanced environment. Unfortunately not a great deal of privacy is available at reception to discuss anything as the waiting room chairs are immediately behind you so nothing can be discreet but I'd probably write it down if it was that personal and hand it over to them or again, send an email. Hand sanitiser in the main entrance has once or twice been empty which maybe just needs a closer eye on but thats my own personal preference. As a whole to date, I fully respect this surgery and its staff for the hard work and effort it provides it's patients and I do feel safe being with them. Please note all of my feedback is about the Caritas surgery at Coedpoeth only. I have never been to the Cefn Mawr branch to provide any feedback. Hope you found my review helpful and informative. :)

Its impossible to get an appointment from the doctor. I've been fobbed off constantly by the receptionist, as if I was wasting her time. I really need to see the doctor and I've had to resort to calling 111 on numerous occasions to try and get an out of hours appointment. I'm changing from Caritas as soon as I can. Avoid at all cost!!

As noted by some previous reviewers the communication and care here are now dreadful. It is impossible to get any sense out of anyone. My husband had so many problems with misdiagnosis and miscommunication that we have now registered with another practice. The worst thing was the very rude and extremely hostile response he received from one of the partners when he all he was trying to do was find out why he was persistently being given conflicting information about his health problems. The stress these people caused was unbelievable. This place is an absolute disgrace. It is such a relief not to have to deal with them any more.
